Job Description:

Our client is an independent property sales and lettings agency. They offer a range of integrated services can be tailored to each client’s individual needs. They have built a reputation for providing the highest levels of customer service, reliability and attention to detail.

Objectives of Role:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who can confidently communicate with our clients and customers on a daily basis. You will be in charge of the management of our client’s portfolio of properties to ensure any maintenance/general issues are dealt with the highest level of customer care.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Liaising with tenants and landlords on any issues that may arise from a tenancy whether general issue/enquiry or maintenance issues
  • Liaising with our approved panel of engineers and organising works orders to be booked in and managed efficiently until completion of all jobs
  • Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, EPC's and all other legal documentation to ensure that all managed properties comply with current legislation
  • Ensuring any maintenance jobs are completed within a reasonable time frame
  • Carrying out quarterly inspections of all managed properties and report back to landlords and tenants
  • Ensuring that all costs of works orders have been authorised by the landlord/tenant prior to approval of works orders
  • Working alongside our accounts team to ensure all payments have been authorised
  • Chase up any late rent payments should they arise
  • Organising move outs of properties
  • Attending all move outs to ensure all tenants have vacated smoothly with the highest level of customer care
  • Dealing with contract renewals on currently managed properties.
  • Generally Assisting the team with answering calls, dealing with general enquiries and directing calls to the appropriate person.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven background in administration and customer service within a professional office environment
  • Strong complaint handling techniques
  • Experience in lettings, property maintenance or facilities would be an advantage
  • Self-motivation with a 'can do' attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional, trustworthy, organised and adaptable
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office systems
  • Previous experience with Rent Man would be an advantage
  • Full UK driving license is essential
Salary: £18,000 - £23,000
