Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Estate Manager to oversee the day to day running of a South London commercial and residential portfolio. The site is based in a busy, thriving location in South West/West London and it offers occupiers the choice of five newly refurbished office buildings which are set within private grounds. As the Estate Manager, you will oversee and manage the entire commercial site, whilst also manage a residential rental portfolio within the local area. You will oversee a team of employees as well as promote and maintaining strong tenant relations.

DUTIES OF THE COMMERCIAL ESTATE MANAGER

  • Setting and managing annual service charge budgets
  • Procurement of services and materials for the estate, negotiating cost whilst maintaining high standards
  • Management of the residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for all tenants, managing and solving maintenance issues and queries, appointing contractors and overseeing works when required
  • Handling contractual arrangements, check-ins etc.
  • Staff management and appraisals
  • Maintaining all health & safety records for the development
  • Overseeing a team of 8 on-site staff
  • Oversee the growth of the development over the next 2 years liaising with senior management, contractors and others with regards to further development Criteria for the Property/Estate Manager Role


PACKAGE FOR THE COMMERCIAL ESTATE MANAGER

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Hours: Standard working hours, Monday to Friday.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Previous commercial building management experience – essential
  • Excellent communication skills and be comfortable acting as the main point of contact to all tenants
  • Highly experience working with external contractors
  • Have an interest in organising tenant functions
  • Previous experience running a residential property portfolio is highly advantageous
